Overview of Distributing Ebooks as Apps
1) Build your app
Use your existing EPUB ebook files. Simply upload them to the app builder.
AuthorMob Social Book Store app, a full featured app that enables you to:
- Have a book store within the app to promote and sell other titles via in app purchases with iPad and iPhone. (In app purchases from Android apps will be avaiable later in 2011.)
- Add graphics, color, audio and other assets to bring your books to life.
- Connect to your readers via your blog, facebook, and twitter

2) Publish your apps to app store(s)
When you decide that your app is ready to go live, just click on "publish" and AuthorMob engineers handle the entire process of submitting your app to the Apple App Store, and soon, the Google Android Marketplace, and the Amazon.com Android App Marketplace.
Getting apps approved and available for sale can take days or weeks, as it's dependent on the policies of each app store, so plan timing accordingly.
3) Pay the Set up fee
Only once you publish your app to the App Store do you pay the set up fee, starting at USD $99.

4) Get Paid Royalties
AuthorMob sells your apps and pays you royalties of 50% of the retail price of all sales. (Most app stores retain 30%, and AuthorMob 20%) Payment is net 60 days. Read more about royalties.
